Information to candidates called for the written Test

1. Candidates called for the written test are requested to report at Central Lecture Hall Complex, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore-560012 8.45 AM on 18^th April 2016.
2. List of the candidates shortlisted for interview and the interview schedule will be displayed on the notice boards (both in Department of ESE and at Central Lecture Hall Complex) and also on the ESE website at 7.00 PM on 18^th April 2016.
3. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview on either 19^th or 20^th April 2016 as notified through the interview schedule. The candidates should report in the Department of ESE in time for the interview.
4. Candidates should be prepared to stay until 21^st April 2016 to attend the interviews. Prepare and make travel arrangements accordingly to avoid last minute hassle.

Question paper structure for ESE MTech written test

The question paper is set for duration of 01.30 hours and carries a maximum mark of 50. It has 10 one-mark questions, 8 two-mark questions and 8 three-mark questions. The questions are of the following types

2. Distinct answer based questions
